I found this video by accident and now I can't tear myself away... Fantastic! This popular version also introduced me to traditional Sufi music. It's a pity that the work of Jyoti and Sultana is not known in Europe...

If you do not give up the crowds you won't find your way to Oneness. If you do not drop your self you won't find your true worth If you do not offer all you have to the Beloved, you will live this life free of that pain which makes it worth living.

In my opinion this inspired you only because this is a genre of music that indulges your musical sensibilities. This genre of amalgamation of Sufi music originated originally from India and has grown very popular in your nation. But Indian music is a lot more than just this.... 😊😊😊 We are a diverse and plural nation and we reject singularity in any form. PS: explore Indian music and am sure nothing else will inspire you anymore...

they are from punjab India .. however, music has no boundaries of nations. It doesn't matter where the artist is from and from where the true admirer of it like you.

One of the best Sufi composition; sung magnificently by Nooran Sisters and played equally beautifully by the musicians. Hats off to Baba Bulleh Shah and all of you guys! Thanks so much for this. :-)

I am so glad they retained Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan Sahib’s iconic rendition of Allah Hoo at the end. No reimagining of this classic is complete without a nod to the maestro who first brought Bulleh Shah’s words to life. Beautifully performed, steeped in both a respectful nostalgia and an optimism for the future of Sufi music. Well done!
