✍SUMMARY 1. Having connection and closeness with Allah is the greatest pleasure which is incomparable to all other pleasures in the world. And it is meant for tranquility and peace of heart and mind. 2. Remembrance of Allah to the heart is like water for fish see what happens to the fish if taken out of water. [Ibn Taymiyyah]. Heart is the place of feeling. Protection of Heart is necessary to prevent the heart from hardening. (So flee (run) to Allâh (from His Torment to His Mercy - Islâmic Monotheism). Verily, I (Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) am a plain warner (of day of resurrection) to you from Him. [Surah Adh Dhariat 50]). 3. Being faraway from Shirk. (Surely the religion (i.e. the worship and the obedience) is for Allâh only. And those who take Auliyâ’ (protectors, helpers, lords, gods) besides Him (say): "We worship them only that they may bring us near to Allâh." Verily Allâh will judge between them concerning that wherein they differ. Truly, Allâh guides not him who is a liar, and a disbeliever.[Surah Az Zumar 3]) 4. Following the Prophet and taking him as leader in all your actions. 5. Being foremost in doing righteous deeds. (Verily, those for whom the good has preceded from Us, they will be removed far therefrom (Hell) [Surah Al Anbiya 101]). 6. (And it is not your wealth, nor your children that bring you nearer to Us (i.e. please Allâh), but only he who believes (in the Islâmic Monotheism), and does righteous deeds (will please Us); as for such, there will be twofold reward for what they did, and they will reside in the high dwellings (Paradise) in peace and security. [Surah Saba 37]). 7. Obligations and Voluntary prayers lead to closeness to Allah. Praying the whole night but sleeping for Fajr is not allowed. 8. Praying Tahajjud leads to closeness to Allah. 9. Fall prostrate and draw near to Allâh! [Surah Al Alaq 19]
