Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, mentioned the day of Friday and he said, “In it is an hour in which no Muslim stands to pray and ask Allah for something but that he will be given it,” and he indicated with his hand that the time is very short. Shaddad ibn Aws narrates that the Prophet ﷺ said; "The most superior way of asking for forgiveness from Allah is to say the following dua. If somebody recites it during the day with firm faith in it, and dies on the same day before the evening, he will be from the people of Paradise; And if somebody recites it at night with firm faith in it, and dies before the morning, he will be from the people of Paradise.” اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ رَبِّي لا إِلَهَ إِلا أَنْتَ خَلَقْتَنِي وَأَنَا عَبْدُك وَأَنَا عَلَى عَهْدِكَ وَوَعْدِكَ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُ أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا صَنَعْتُ أَبُوءُ لَكَ بِنِعْمَتِكَ عَلَيَّ وَأَبُوءُ لَكَ بِذَنْبِي فَاغْفِرْ لِي فَإِنَّهُ لا يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ إِلا أَنْتَ Allahumma anta Rabbi la ilaha illa Anta Khalaqtani wa ana abduka, wa ana ‘ala ahdika wa wa’dika mastata’tu, A’udhu bika min Sharri ma sana’tu, abu’u Laka bini’matika ‘alaiya, wa Abu’u Laka bidhanbi faghfirli fainnahu la yaghfiru adhdhunuba illa anta O Allah! You are my Lord! None has the right to be worshipped but You. You created me and I am Your slave, And I am faithful to my covenant and my promise as much as I can. I seek refuge with You from all the evil I have done. I acknowledge before You all the blessings You have bestowed upon me, And I confess to You all my sins. So I entreat You to forgive my sins, for nobody can forgive sins except You. (Sahih Al-Bukhari )

Abu Sa’id al-Khudri reported: The Prophet, ﷺ peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Whoever recites Surat al-Kahf on Friday, a light will shine for him between this Friday and the next.” (Al-Sunan al-Kubraa lil-Bayhaqi) Abu Mas’ud al-Ansari reported: The Prophet, ﷺ peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Increase your supplications for blessings upon me on Friday, for no one blesses me on Friday but that his supplication is presented to me.” (Shu’ab al-Imaan) Jabir ibn Abdullah reported: The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Friday is made of twelve hours. No Muslim finds himself supplicating to Allah Almighty during one of them but that Allah will give it to him. Thus, seek it out in the last hour after the afternoon prayer.” (Sunan Abu Dawuud)
