"Allan Clarke" the voice of the Hollies. The most talented and prolific group ...bar none. All the way from rocking Robin, stay, here I go again, oriental sadness, the melancholy " Gloria swansong , crusader, king midas in reverse and a thousand other great songs. This man and this group were the most underrated around. So many great memories to connect with their songs , still sing " bus stop" to the wife after fifty years. Live long and prosper Allan.

Underrated never, overlooked possibly, not recognised as much possibly, not played enough yes, compared unfairly yes but never underatted

Alan Clarke was my hero what a great singer and front man.When i first saw the Hollies in 1963 i wanted to play in a band and since that day ive played in dozens of them and had a great time.

What good musical genes Mr. Clarke has! It is not surprising that his grandson participates and follows his musical line. Music unites generations and for that we will always be grateful to those who contribute to musical history in all genres. Successes Mr. Clarke, I wish you success in your new musical project!

I can't wait Mr. Clarke. It's really beautiful how you've taken up with this new musical project. As fans, we've all believed you've still had it in you. You are a true survivor, and I'm very glad I've had the chance to experience your music in my life, and actually meet you 36 years ago. Cheers to you.

As a Hollies fan since "Stay" in 1963 its really great to see this. Back in those days you occasionally ....very occasionally saw the Hollies on a TV show (if my Dad didn't say turn this rubbish off) the only other outlet was the BBC Light programme and then Luxemburg with its coming and going fading signal. As life progressed there was the NME and Melody Maker where you could read snippets and reviews...all the Hollies stuff was kept in a box under my bed ! Sadly, that was it, total and absolute. So here we are in 2019 listening to "Grandpa Allan" talking with his Grandson about making an Album. Not all media is as bad as us "older peeps" usually make it out to be. Well done Mr Clarke !

I love this! It is like an older Allan talking with a younger Allan. Sam has inherited that amazing talent. Cannot wait to get the album. Once again, you inspire me, Allan. I still have that song (lyrics) that would be perfect for you! It would be a dream come true (my Everly Brothers moment) if you would take a look at it.
