I can't believe how moved I was by this performance. The voice of Mr. Bernt Kasberg Evensen gives of such a deep humanity. And the way it was staged in this manner of something which I would affectionately call somewhat ridiculous with the costumes and all, but with a tragedy which it somehow contributes to just perfectly reaches my heart.

Dear Mr Evensen - Thank you for this - It brings joy to my heart - I find the performance has a rustic honesty and directness which makes it so affecting - At present I have a disc with Mossberg (which I enjoy immensely) and a disc with Groop (which I find less to my taste) - Can you give any recommendations as to other recordings? - Thanks

Константин М Dear Sir(or Madam?)Iam so happy that you like these songs!I have been singing them for about 40 years and never get tired of them.There was a recording with Magot Rödin ,Erik Sædèn and Arnold Östman,but this is not available anymore.To my great surprise there is no complete recording to be had (apart a production done by NDR(North Germany Broadcast)which I find totally lacking tesion). The songs are published by "Nordiska Musikförlaget"(NMS 6480)I bought my copy by "Norsk Musikforlag"Schweigaardgt.34E Postboks 1499 Vika No0116 Oslo.
