Buy a bag of nestle butterscotch chips and make oatmeal scotchies printed on the back. Only mod I make to the directions is I add a half bag of milk chocolate chips.

Use raw cashews and bake them in air bake for 2½min after a thin coating with veg oil and a sprinkle of french fry salt. They will harden as they cool, will be abit squishy when done just as they starting to turn golden; if temp set right.

The reason you boil the water is so it brings out the chocolate flavor more!! Some people do the same with coffee to make the chocolatey taste stronger and more enhanced but I don’t like coffee lol.

Ya it needs to be cooled. First greaased and floured? You can cool it in the freezer for 10 to 15 min then flip it right away before the cake warms the pan back up. But now the cake is going to melt the frosting and if it didnt setup it is propably just going to crumble the cake instead of spreading evenly. So yea let it cool for an hour before removing it from the pan. Larger cake may take longer.

You should make lemon poppyseed muffins

To carmelize your butter. Very slowly melt the butter adding a little bit of sugar at a time then add more butter if it clumps or gets thick as paste, and more sugar until you have the amount you need. Continue to lightly simmer until a golden brown. Stirring constantly cant let it sit it will taste scorched because it is to fasy and to easy to burn. It also will thicken even more as it cools.
