Please watch in HD - filmed from the rail. As I mentioned - the sound guys could have given a bit more vocal to the rail crowd :) but otherwise it was awesome!

Turn off the light cuz it's night on lasagna! Dig Isaac's "Oops" slide at one point coming out of the chorus. Guess they don't play this one too often.

Is he using a humbucker? I think this old songs sound better with a single coil

I knew something sounded off and thats definitely it. Crazy how it can completely change a song. I think he's also a little out of tune

When did he switch to an SG?

When he played Night on the Sun.

It's prolly a guitar that's used just for this song because of the wonky open tuning. It takes a minute to get in and out of it and it screws with your muscle memory of how you do chords, so because I'm lazy anytime I want to play this song I'm playing nothing but this song until I feel arsed enough to change it back. My point is that's prolly the dedicated Night On Lasagna guitar.

Do you understand how live music works? It doesn't sound like the album because it's not the album, it's live.
@Canela332 жыл бұрын
@@sleeepy2 the strokes sounded back in the days exactly just like in the albums. But yeah modest mouse albums are better than the strokes ones. Is just an example
@longebane Жыл бұрын
@@sleeepy2 a lot of MM's songs sounds great with the gritty raw syncopated off-tune sound. this isn't one of them. it's a more mellow piece (ESPECIALLY in the extended ep version) that just sounds off with the distortion and shit. imagine if they did baby blue sedan like this
