Wow ! What a high standard of rugby for a school game, and such a great atmosphere too. No wonder the All Blacks are so dominant if this is the standard at school level. I wonder how many of these boys will become professional players. Great to watch. Best wishes from England.

There are a lot of other very good NZ schools as well as these two. All the Boys High Schools are usually pretty good plus the private schools.

NAIL BITTING GAME! Right to the final whistle even with a controversial winning try disallowed. This was awesome to watch grass roots rugby on you tube, talent was amazing to witness the players putting their body’s on the line for school and the stands full of people. Truly loved watching this and recommend any school boy/girl player to watch and share this game and possibly see future All Black’s.

Makes sense that rugby players are so used to violence, but they're weirdly OK with violence. Also other weird stuff like groping, I only played rugby a small number of times and had my balls grabbed and squeezed twice in rucks. Impossible to see who did it in such a tangle of bodies. Cool as a sport, weird as a culture tbh.

There are certain Rugby fixtures at School level that are marked as Traditionals, as in Special occasions between 2 longtime rivals as these to Rivals dating back to 1896.
