Okay, another way to interpret is: The formula gives you the exact number of people who are ahead of you. If some of these people have same score they'll have same rank. If you get 250 after calculation, then this means there are 250 people who scored more than you. If JRF is awarded to 200 people, then you won't be getting it.

Do note that some of these people ahead might include people from other categories too so you might get JRF, just might not if your category is UR because people from other categories rarely score to the top.

How many students will get jrf in any particular paper? I heard that Number of JRF students in june is more compared to December is it correct or just a rummor, please someone answer.

Yeah, students with same mark will get same rank. But the question is what rank the next candidate will get. For example, say 5 students get full marks, then all 5 of them will get Rank 1. But what about the one just after those 5? Will that candidate get rank of 6 or 2? For NEET UG, they gave AIR 1 to 16 or so candidates, but the next one got AIR 17

2 things are there. 1 st students can get marks not only round figure they can get number like 112.01, 112.5, 112.75 etc. etc. you forget to mention. 2nd caste system.. student with caste can get benefitted with rank

Percentile (or rank) vs mark is not a linear graph. It behaves somewhat linearly for the lower marks where the most candidates are scoring (around 30-80), but as the percentiles (or rank) increase, the increase in mark becomes more and more. It then somewhat belaves like exponential graph. So at 100 percentile, the mark is a lot higher, way more than 68, I'd say even more than double of that. Ofc the topper has exceptional marks in every subject, then the second after that has considerably less marks.

The analysis is wrong. We can't predict rank, yes. But you say her rank will be less than or equal to 325, whereas it will be more than or equal to 325.its because some people having same percentile will have same rank but then there will be a tie breaker which is the normal one used in any competitive exam. Please refrain from making videos with false information unless you're sure of it.

Please checkout previous results of CSIR NET there have been cases where multiple people have got same rank That's why many coaching claim that they have more than 100 students under 100 rank, how is that possible? It is because multiple candidates share same rank. I am not sure about other subjects but for chemical sciences it is true

There are no tie breakers in CSIR NET. Students with the same percentile (i.e. getting same marks) will get the same rank. You can check the rank list released by CSIR for the previous times, if there was some tie breaker then from one subject there should be only one candidate for a given rank, so in total 5 candidates per rank from 5 subjects. But there are more than 5 (even more than 40 for some ranks) candidates per rank. So the rank of the candidate will be less than or equal to 325 for sure.

There is a minimum marks of 25% for reserved category i.e. 50 marks is minimum for LS, it can't go below 50 for LS. It's clearly mentioned in the bulletin.

Sir marks come in decimals also so it's highly possible between 112 to 113 , 10 or higher no. of students are there like someone got 112.1 someone 112.2 like that

For each correct answer a person gets either 2 or 4 marks and for each incorrect there is negative marking of either 0.5 or 1 marks How can someone get marks 112.1 or 112.2 etc Either they will get 112 or 112.5 or 113
