Do you know what I noticed, every fire I see that comes out of northern New Jersey ladder 41 and 42 are always there it seems, they were at the last fire I seen a couple of days ago, they must be the busiest ladder crews I ever seen. Great video

It's because they only have two ladders in town I retired two years ago the man Powers cut down to nothing five and two sometimes 4 engines and 2 ladders it's a small Department so when there's a job everybody goes. Used to have a 143 guys used to have 30 a shift or more now you're down to 19 a shift. Good thing is you get a lot of experience fast

You would think that they could get into action quicker than they were then.

James Zannino sucks but I bet local politicians that made the cuts didn’t cut their paychecks any! Last place cuts should be made is to emergency services local politicians should get a pay cut before they even think about cutting the budget of emergency services

Cliff Ferguson ones that really get me is dude standing 3 house away shouting get off the roof like he has a clue. I guess he’s more like a sideline firefighter 😂 all i know is he was severely annoying seemed he must know the job better than the guys actually doing it he keeps saying they shouldn’t be up there like that and get off the roof as if they can hear him and if they could would actually listen to him

That was very scary seeing firefighters on the lower roof! Glad they are still alive!

“Get off the roof!!!” Like the firemen don’t know how to do there job.
@CPR123455 жыл бұрын
WatchingLion777 I’m not sure who was yelling to “Get off the roof!”...but then you heard the air horn being blown several times...that’s a signal for everyone, especially the firemen who are inside the building, to evacuate and get away from the structure because it’s become even more dangerous than it is normally, for whatever reason. (For example, a collapse or imminent collapse)

"get off the roof" was concerned people in the crowd, Its interesting that command ordered an evacuation about the same time.

I'm sure Irvington firefighters know what they are doing, they have plenty of experience with working fires

ALL COUNTY NEWS Yea that fire quickly got crazy when the flames shot out through the window. It’s awesome how concerned people are for the firemen’s safety. I seen other videos on firemen doing their jobs and it made me appreciative in what they do saving lives. One video I saw was the man trapped in his high rise apartment. He was sticking his head out the window telling to firemen to hurry up. There was smoke pouring out of his windows. Their ladder could not reach up to him because there was a flat roof platform. They had to use two portable ladders to get to him. I was on the edge of my seat as I watched this rescue video. Eventually the firemen got to the man and pulled him out. His entrance was blocked by the fire and could not get out. The fireman had to break the window and have him come out through the bathroom window.
