How It Works
Instead of housing the scan tool software in a bulky, hand-held unit, ALLDATA Diagnostics has a VCI (Vehicle Connection Interface) device that attaches to the vehicle’s OBDII port. Then it links wirelessly via Bluetooth to a tablet (Android, Windows 10, or iOS). This gives you the flexibility to perform all the scan tool functions on the tablet. And with ALLDATA built in, codes link directly to relevant OEM-direct articles, including ALLDATA’s new non-OE interactive color wiring diagrams - there’s no punching out to a separate browser or application.
