Hey man you're the one inspired me enough to round all of my change to get a civic, I love it for a long time but never get pump enough because my budget is super tight. I've been hold off for 6 months then I see one post online for 700$ civic (it's gold right now in California), 2nd owner lowest trim and in a really beat up condition, your interior is like 10 times better than mine but I fix it up for a month straight. Now she is beautiful, the best feeling is you're driving the car that you put on a ton off love in. Thank you for bring me in the civic world. Great to meet up with you in real life.

When you strip the interior down that far, just go a little further. Remove a couple more plastic pieces and take the carpet out and pressure wash it, let it dry and put it back in. Much better process. Looks good man.

Great detail... I have a 99 Civic myself I've been working on cleaning out. I do have to say though, the part part of the driver side seat where you said the fabric is "frayed", it might just be oil accumulation. I had this on the fabric of the console top and driver's side door fabric area, points where there was bodily contact. Same with the driver's seatbelt... didn't retract from oil buildup. Got the console top fabric and driver's door fabric back to new with LOTS of scrubbing, seatbelt and driver's side backrest are still on my to do list. Keep it up!
