Very true, OEM+ tends to be a pretty expensive style. But in my honest humble opinion though, It's usually such a interesting style that's very much worth it as long as one gets the right parts. Some parts might look nice and OEM+ but in reality they're cheap replacements only meant to look slightly more fancy, But research does wonders.

I found a full set of four brand new mats for my 01 Prelude at a Honda dealer in Canada. Don’t know how they actually found them up but they were in the original plastic packaging. 500$ cad. Bought brand new Honda headlights for 400$ each as well and door moulding for 90$ each, getting hard to find parts for the lude so I was buying things before I need them. I keep my cars forever. @@ericxhcurioso3357 I hope he upgrades parts properly. In the RSX community, 100% oem isnt necessarily wanted. Certain upgrades are needed... The shifter is 100% an upgrade that needs after market solutions. That, and the CMC(needs em1 or em2), should change out the detents and shift selector springs. These are upgrades pretty much all enthusiasts do anyway and make the car a lot better to shift. Motor mounts (hardrace or Hasport) are also needed. They are night and day changes to performance.

Even though it's my gf's I still act like I own it hahaha. It's awesome that I found out you're building one and I think it's great you're documenting everything even the small stuff like floor mats. I'm inspired to do the same with her RSX and my car too! Since it's my girl's car I'm not going to do anything crazy like turbocharging or engine swap. I'm thinking of ricing it up with a type r wing, wheels and a daily drivable lowering springs first since the mileage is so low I feel like I can get away with splurging on those mods right away. can't wait for more!
