Just remember, that live is a struggle. Not everyone lives in the US or in Europe like me. Life always has been difficult in many countries. But that is what it is, you have to be able to take those hits and punches you get. And keep moving forward ;) 80 procent of those workers lived poorly before, in places you can't imagine. Hunger and struggle is what lead them here. China has a different strategie for workers, they get rooms to sleep and food to eat. At least better then before, and is improving day by day. Just as how we did ;)

Ask Rockchip for the firmware source code. Check my latest Rockchip RK3168 video for a bit about the source code releasing request. Rockchip is opening up, but not quite yet, for some reasons relating to them managing their growth somehow. If people implement buggy hacked alternatives, they may have to increase their support work which they can't quite manage yet they say.

It's bizarre that they're open enough to allow people to come and poke around in the factory with a video camera but they can't be persuaded to share the source code for their software. Nice video, cheers.

that is an anti-static grounding bracelet, so the static electricity build up in your body doesn't damage the delicate electronics. It's just an electrical ground attached to the body. It's best practice for anyone working with electronics to ground themselves with a ground lead attached to the body!

+blackzed No it is so they do not fry the inside of the product. They are supposed to be connected to a blue coiled wire that fits on the connection on the table. You can disconnect when not working on the innards of the product, or when walking from your work station to any other place. I have to say it is great to see that they get to sit down. In Ireland we had to stand on a grid of big half ball shape metal. This so we would not fall asleep. We worked 12 hours 6 days but get 8 hours 5 days pay.
