This is not accurate during days with Halloween Horror Nights. The crowds start in the Studios in the morning and move over to IOA late afternoon.

I know I'm a weirdo but Emma talking about how much she sweats just always makes me laugh, I don't know why but it does. Also, I love how much Emma has come into her own as I've always liked her since she started but her goofiness and personality is really coming through. I was at Universal from September 24th - October 1st and the crowds were never too bad. Of course the hurricane hit that week so Wednesday - Friday there was no park access, I didn't get to do HHN, I had Express pass but even Velocicoaster rarely went over 45 minutes, Hagrid's mostly stayed around 75-90 minutes which for those two rides is reasonable. Only issue, as the video with Emma shows, is when one of those rides break down the wait times do fill up quite a bit in other rides because unlike Disney the size of the parks aren't as big and all of the rides are really close together. Love Universal though, even though I lost three park days I still had a great time.

My first trip to Universal was the second week of October, 2019. (It's Columbus Day/Indigenous Peoples Day here in NY). Crowds were scarce that week, and the park was very enjoyable. I just came back last week from Universal, and the crowds were INSANE. Something was vastly different from this past week vs the same week 3 years ago. I'll pick a different week the next time I go.

We were in Universal on September 18 and 19. Only did about half of Universal on the 18th (it was a HHN day). Crowds were not bad at all. We had Express Pass because we stayed at Royal Pacific and it was worth it since I hate waiting for rides. We spent the evening over in IOA and only had to wait 40 minutes for Hagrid's. Train was down on the 18th but reopened on the 19th and we were so happy!! Spent most of the 19th in IOA hopped over to Universal for a bit and wrapped up the night back at IOA.

Kinda lost track of the Mummy ride plot there at the end. Nobody makes it feel like a chore going to Universal quite like you All Ears.

I was never really interested in Universal until I started watching your videos. Although I don't think it has the magic of DW, it has some pros of its own, not the least of which is the thrilling coasters.

We just went to Universal for the first time a couple weeks ago. NEVER again in September. The wait times were low but once it started raining our day was over. It was miserable, drenching, hard rain that lasted for HOURS. Next time we’ll go in February. I learned that I cannot deal with Florida weather in summer.

Wow, we were there a couple weeks ago as well, and had the most incredible time. Just after labour day and just before the hurricanes came. Rain only lasted 15-20 mins each day. We’re planning to go back the same time next year.

SAME!! We went for the first time in Sept and rides closed by 5pm. I felt like we didn't get to ride as much and we paid so much as we splurged for the express pass. I thought the crowds in Hogsmeade were ridiculous, couldn't imagine going in the summer!!

We went to Universal/Islands for the first time in September and I have to say for the amount of money spent (both parks and express passes) to do ONE day, it didn't seem worth it. I know we picked September, best time for our family, but the park itself closed at 7pm, which seemed SO early....and it wasn't a Halloween Horror Night! But with the rain, most rides were down by 5pm, which we understand the weather this time of year. I feel like if you want to do BOTH Harry Potter areas and rides you need two days because we tried to do both but by the time you walk to the parts of the park you want, we literally only did a handful of rides the entire day! In theory the park is amazing, but as people who visit amusement parks regularly, the layout is not great to be able to do all the rides in a short amount of time. Maybe summer hours are longer, but who wants to be in FL in July or August!!! LOL ;)

Yeah. Universal really jacks up the one day passes a lot but the more days you go the more you save. And the annual passes are really good if you’re able to go. I’m a florida resident and my gf and I are planning on getting annual passes this next year and calculating it with the pass we are planning on getting we can get our moneys worth with just 3-4 days of attending (and we plan to go often)

I was there for a week and several times the wait for Kong was only 15-20 minutes and I still didn't go on the ride. It's not a terrible ride but I just had no desire to get on it. I'd rather wait 55 minutes to get on Velocicoaster than 20 minutes on Kong.
