Universal Shows are great. Marilyn Monroe, Blues Brothers, Bourne Show all a go right now. If you want only one day, stick to Universal side. You are outside for Marilyn and Blues. I would say no to Disney right now, because no shows.

Im a chocolate fanatic so when I saw this restaurant I HAD to check it out! I went pre-pandemic, and we were seated upstairs which was pretty cool. It did have that steampunk vibe. It looked different from where you were seated. I never been to the Edison, so Im not sure how it compared. I do agree though, that chocolate almond bread is 🤤🤤

Can I just say that this video inspired me to make reservations at Toothsome Chocolate Emporium for our trip to Universal. We had dinner there last night and I ordered everything that you had! And I was not disappointed!! Soooo good! And my kids had the flatbread pizzas but also ate my chocolate almond bread (I only got 2 bites!) Anyway....thanks for the inspiration! It was totally awesome!!!

Nice to have another video with Molly! Tip: Toothsomes fills dinner reservations at least a week prior to the date for weekends. If you plan to go on a Saturday or Sunday night, book the dinner reservation as soon as possible (1 month in advance) to get the time you want...and to avoid the restaurant being full.

This is a great video, Molly. It would be super helpful if you could do an allergy video at universal. It’s so easy to eat with allergies at Disney, but universal seems to be much more of a challenge.

I've found Universal to be just the same as Disney when it comes to allergies. The menus are marked such as gluten free, vegan, nut free ect. The team members have ingredient binders at the counter service places and all you have to do is ask and a chef or food manager will come speak to you before you order. I have a severe citrus allergy and have to be really careful because things like orange, lemon, lime and tomato are used in dishes you'd never expect them to be and have found Universal a breeze to eat at. The food managers, chefs and team members there will work with you to make sure you are safe. Hopefully this helps a little bit.

My dad *loves* chocolate. But when we saw the emporium, we thought it was just a chocolate store. We’d been to Universal before, but spent the entire day in the Wizarding World. So, with my mom and brother off to ride roller coasters, we decided to check it out. We walked in, our stomachs full from Hard Rock Cafe, only to realize it was a restaurant. We were so disappointed we didn’t know about it sooner.

Citywalk is open has been for a long time . Nothing is closed in universal city walk . Few places closed up and moved out but every else is open .

Unfortunately when my family ate their in July 2022 the service was extremely slow, the food was very bland and it became a one and done for us. We all wanted to try the desserts but after waiting 45 mins just for our dinners we decided to leave and grab dessert on city walk. The exterior ambience takes the cake- the interior is a cheap set up of project TVs giving short repetitive images of a chocolate factory.

I’ve been to the Chocolate Emporium, I got mini burger sliders with chocolate covered bacon, and a strawberry cheesecake milkshake. I love cheesecake, it had a chocolate covered strawberry on top of the slice of cheesecake and had chunks of cheesecake in the milkshake. The sliders and milkshake were really good!

You got lucky. Last year oct 2021when we went there the milkshakes were watery. I personally had the one with cake. The cake was more frozen than the milkshake. There were 6 of us and all the shakes were bad. The food wasn't too good either. We won't ever go back.

I wasn't a fan of the thickness of the shake. It was blended so much that it was watery texture. I will try again another time and ask for it to be a little chunky

I think it's because (hope so anyway) it's easier to hear people through them. The fabric ones can get very thick. Hearing impaired people have a really hard time with thick masks because people think they just have to shout and we'll hear them. So maybe it just makes for better sound on the videos.

We really enjoyed Toothsome. The only thing I didn’t like was my drink which I believe was the chocolate coffee banana, it was just too strong like drinking pure rubbing alcohol. But all the food was great.

Chocolate lover PSA: go to Toothsome and try the chocolate mousse- it’s the best/richest thing I’ve ever eaten. My family had it for the first time in 2017 and we talk about it at least once a month.

I went in January, 2019 in the before times, and had just one of the super milkshake for lunch and I barely finished it. It was very rich. I ate on the outside patio and it was lots of fun. But I don't yhink I could eat a normal meal and a milkshake.

The front of that restaurant was AMAZING but it made me think, with those moving gears - imagine how careful Universal has to be that they don't accidentally design things with hidden Mickeys hahaha! It's such an easy thing to do, I bet they catch themselves all the time having to re-design stuff.
