Emperors New Groove would have fit in WAY better-tropical Americas? Animals? The main character is a LLAMA? Llama trail? (Which are decidedly absent from DAK) Specialty drink with adult version option? Kuzco potion/Yzma potion. Tie in with the Wilderness Explorers and the Junior Chipmunks? Beautiful forced perspective of Pacha’s hilltop house with Kuzcotopia on the next hill? Kuzcotopia obviously has the gift shop, the carnival games, the money grabs? Plus the most amazing ride ever-thinking a combo coaster flume ride like Dudley’s over at Universal.

Plus some VERY popular characters for meet and greets? And Patrick Warburton is obviously into making cameos in the parks? The restaurant would obviously be Kronk’s place. How are we getting more Encanto shoved down our throats (they evicted Merida from MK dedicated spot, there’s an Encanto show at EP) and an out of place Indy when Disney has such an amazing movie/sequel in their IP library????

Enjoying the focus on experience redemptions. They are always so much fun at Disneyland. The old genie system at disneyworld had rides so far out it wasn’t worth gambling on purposely getting an experience redemption but the new system seems to make the experience redemption challenge more interesting.

Warms my heart learning of the long line for Kali... just because I am a fan of water rides, flumes, rafts, slides, etc. Kudos to Quincy for completing another challenge... she'd be an amazing teammate for the Amazing Race! I’d say it’s worth it if you have a toddler like we did the last time we were just there in the beginning of August it’s definitely worth it to have it for that park.

We went to AK the Friday before Labour Day weekend. We paid for the Single Pass for Flight of Passage and got 8:25. As non resort guests, we rope dropped Na'vi's (10 min wait, and so glad we did this first because by 8:30 it was 30-45 mins plus the rest of the day), used our single pass (posted wait time was 60 mins) and then headed to the Safari (it was up to 20 mins but not bad for the longest wait of our day). Headed to Asia, essentially walk ons for Kali and Everest. Dinosaur was also only 10 mins. Then spent the rest of the day watching the shows, doing the walking trails/Rafiki's, and snacking. Very glad we didn't spend money on lightning lane multi pass and got the rides done in the morning because the outdoor rides and trails were closed on and off all afternoon because of lightning in the area.

Dinosaur was one of my top rides to ride at AK when I went thenone and only time I have ever been to Disney and it was down the entire time I was at AK!

Thinking of using advance LL’s in AK to make sure we don’t waste an hour in Na’vi line, the booking all after those three in EC in the evening. it really depends on the crowd levels and September can be hit or miss. there's a good chance you'll get one of those especially if you do everything in DAK EARLY in the morning

Super import question!!! Quincy said that Dinoland USA will close in phases starting in fall of 2025. Did she misspeak or is that true? I thought it was happening this fall and when I google it says fall 2024. I just booked a panic trip so I’m hoping that I can reschedule that a little bit out so we can see the merry menagerie (I think that’s what it is called.) Does anyone know when that starts?

@@AllEarsNet, Thanks!! So our panic trip is still in full effect then. Good thing I booked that. I called Disney and as of now the last date they have it open is October 22nd. The case member said that is only because the calendar only went out that far, but they don’t have a firm closing date. Do you think they will push out a bit longer for Dinosaur? Also, importantly (to my fam), The Boneyard. No one is saying when that will close that I’ve heard. My kiddo is hoping for one more day for both of those experiences.

I agree it's not worth it in AK. For me, it's not worth it anywhere, but I go at least twice a year so if I don't ride a particular ride, it's no big deal. My family are more seat of the pants type people. We always have PHs or, in my case, an AP. I tend to spend the morning in one park and the late afternoon evening in another park. Doing it that way if I want to ride something I just hop in line because I know I'm in no hurry and I'll most likely be back to that park at some other time during the trip. I have always been able to ride every ride I want to without paying for anything extra. Note: I said I want to. I certainly don't try to ride every ride and some trips I'm just not feeling even stepping foot in Galaxy's Edge. FoP and even Guardians sometimes make me a little woozy so there are trips I just skip those.

The 7 day access for hotel guests are a real deterrent for everyone else getting lightning lanes

But the point is to offer perks to people staying on property. So if you want the perk, then just stay on property. 3 days is still better than day of. Many people have reported that there is a second release 3 days before each day to leave some for people who aren’t staying on property

Although fun to watch, these LLMP videos are not very helpful to the average person because almost everyone watching is not travelling to Disney alone. It's obvious it makes sense to spend $25-$30 to skip a bunch of lines, but we are travelling as an extended family of 8 next month. Does it make sense for us to spend $240 for LLMP in Magic Kingdom? What if the times you and your team always get by refreshing don't appear for a large party? I would love to see a video in MK for a party of 8. Maybe we can only get 5-6 LLs in a day? Or does a large party have the same luck refreshing as a party of 1 or 2? That is a true measure to see if LLMP is worth it for a family. And that is not even taking into account the single pass rides

@timothyeletto2487 party size has no affect on the lightning lanes you can get. It's literally no different (besides the additional cost, obviously) for one person vs a group (though it does cap out at like 10 or 12 people

I asked a Disney phone rep if there is a limit to how many people you can book LL for at the same time, he said 6. When we made dining reservations on the app, it only allowed 7. If I selected more than 7, it wouldn't populate any options. Disney makes it extremely difficult to travel as a large group.

@alishal.176 this is just not true. While dining reservations can be tricky for larger groups, you can still get them. Worst case is you book 2 tables, get there early and request to be seated next to each other and it usually works out. I've also booked multi-pass for 8-10 people in my group no problem multiple times (including after the change)

Lightning Lane again....They sure are pushing this extra cost option and pushing it Hard. I like to think that Allears is a place to get fair and unbias content about Disney. But the constant Lightning Lane videos shows that Disney pays the bills here.

What? Disney isn't paying them to make these videos. It's a brand new service and they're trying to show how to use it effectively. Like it or not, people are going to use the lightning lanes and they want to know how to use it before their trip. And All Ears has gone on the record saying they don't think it's worth it for Animal Kingdom and Epcot in particular, plus they frequently mention it can get very pricey for large groups.

I don't see it as they are pushing us to buy it. I see it as them helping to educate those of us who don't get to go very often and want to do this kind of research before we go so we can choose whether to buy it when we're there and if we do buy it, we can use it effectively. From my perspective, I really appreciate these videos. I realize that it may not apply to everyone but that's how it applies to me and my family.
