I am working with Reaper and an Avantis attempting to do the virtual sound check. Unsuccessful so far. Cat6 cable plugged directly from MacBook to Dante card in I/O port 1. No signal passing. Any suggestions?

Hi Could you comment on using a Slate Raven Mti2 or MTZ to control streaming mix, be it a Matrix or Ableton Live via Dante.. What other options would you suggest for streaming mix control for the Avantis?

That’s a very unintuitive way to represent a channel. Transitioning over and over from a L to R flow to a vertical list of options is a missed opportunity. I call this science-project design.

Hi there What is the projected/design life of the avantis. It looks so good in your demo I’m considering purchasing I’ve been using A&H since gl2000 and still have 3000and 4000 all great desks Thanks Willie Kiernan

Do the Aux returns burn up channels?

@David, Auxes don't have returns. They are outputs. If you mean FX, it has dedicated FX returns.

If you mean on the Dante side, then yes. In Dante controller you select the sample rate.

The Avantis and dLive aren't the same system, so you can't build one show for both. You will have to save them as separate shows.
