On Martin Luther King Day, A.I. and Starbury face off in New Jersey, both finishing with over 30+ points. Iverson would capture the victory after a hard nosed guard battle between him and Marbury, leading to an intense final quarter.

Both Marbury and Iverson would absolutely cook in the league today. Especially with the lax carry and travel calls. My God they would eat

It's really about how the spacing is nowadays. The paint wouldn't be packed like it was back then. Layup city.

Marbury is so chill when he got the ball and walk. Yet he attacks non-stop even 4 guy under the basket and intercept hard on AI, even knee him. They hit fists after that. Mutual respect.

@@RUSH314What made him legendary before high school? Genuinely asking. I read he was featured in a book “The Last Shot” from his freshman year so he had to have been well known but it’s tough finding information from that long ago.

Casuals just don’t understand how good marbury was. He should be in hof. He’s better than dame . Dame wouldn’t survive back then. Marbury was always a good shooter from deep but the game wasn’t built from out there t that time and he still got anywhere he wanted on the court.

Craziest thing to me is Iverson never even really practiced or anything he just had so much heart and talent imagine if he had like a Kobe mindset watch out I mean he was better than Kobe for first like 5 years when they were in the league together and then Kobe came into his prime when Allen Iverson was just starting to come out of his you got to think Allen Iverson was only 6 ft so as he got older I mean Kobe was like 4years younger than Allen Iverson so when he got older that speed and everything started diminished little by little, it's a shame but Allen Iverson was definitely the most exciting player to watch was definitely something to see I'm glad I could watch it when I was young. Definitely will always be one of my favorite players ever.
