Iverson was 6”2 Luka is 6”7. Iverson was fast, Luka is slow, Iverson had incredible handles, Luka is a ok ball handler. Iverson had to score over much taller players and he did that efficiently. Luka is the taller player at his position. Luka is much less explosive and much leash crafty than Iverson was. I’m sorry but I don’t see the similarities…! If you wanna say they’re both good, then that’s as far as I’m willing to go…!!! But nothing about Luka’s game reminds me of Iverson…! 💯🤦‍♂️

This is a big moment for Luka. In the past, he didn't have a reliable #2 option, he didn't play hard on defense, and his roleplayers were mostly slow, undersized, and unathletic. Now, he plays hard on defense, Kyrie has stepped up to be a great 2nd option, and their teammates are long, athletic, FAST, and mostly solid (if streaky) shooters. Boston is solid and the stats guys like them. They had a great regular season and should be favored. I think the Mavs match up really well with this C's team, but they still have to win the games. Will Luka Doncic rise to the moment and win a title or will he melt under the pressure? Will Joe Mazzulla thoroughly out-coach Jason Kidd and keep us wondering? Nobody knows and we're all about to find out.
