Played 1c for 15y and always had issues with endurance and high register no mateer how much i practiced. It felt good on my mouth so i thought that it is my size. One day i just snapped and bought 20 mouthpieces of all sizes and experimented for good 2 months just to realise that 1c is awfully huge for me. Now i play on yamaha 14b4 and 14a4a. 16.60 to 16.80 rim is my perfect size and i just change a cup size depending on the style i play. I culdn't beleve how much endurance i had with these mpc. And yamaha is the best quality of all those mpc i bought. The worst one is curry. I ended up buying 3 more yamahas 2 gp's and one for cornet and they are all pretty much the same size. Thinking about buying yamaha 9335 b trumpet just don't know which one. Tried chs c and i fell in love.

bach 1b, 1c, 1d, 1e have worked well for me my whole life. I pick the one I need for the music.
