History Matters

Can we trust God? Do we really think He will keep His Word? In this sermon, Pastor Allen Jackson discusses the importance of remembering history-our nation’s and our own. As we begin to review our stories, in case after case, we see the fingerprints of God's faithfulness all over our lives. Remembering what God has done gives us strength and courage to continue to trust Him with our struggles today. God is our Provider, our Healer, our Banner, and our Deliverer, and taking our thoughts and emotions captive to His Truth leads us to His peace.

I experienced God's faithfulness, when I was hospitalized due to a TBI and then a total emotional break down/PTSD. I lost my job, my life’s savings, family and friends abandoned me...God, however, never left or forsaken me, just as He promised. He healed my broken heart and bounded up my wounds,just as He promised. He is Jehovah-Rapha, Jehova-Jireh and Jehovah-Rohi.

I learned from every service so far that I have listened to from you . . I first watched some of your short ones and then slowly watched more . They were helpful during this time of confusion about what happened to our safe word in just a few short years ( Covid , our governments great betrayal . ) I listened to two today and they both helped me to understand my God a little bit better . I just want to say thanks because you showed me that’s by thanking my Lord and loving and praising him makes me closer to him . He is with us all the time we are the ones who have to know that and tell him thank you and I love you my Lord . That is what I needed today and that is why my God helped my finger to press the second sermon I was to watch ( just in case I didn’t get his message listening to the first one ! ) He is our mighty and loving God !

One that is unable to "afford," a formal, traditional education can become knowledgeable. Read the classics, read history, aquire reasoning and writing skills. Ask the Holy Spirit for direction in the learning journey. Truth and wisdom must accompany learning.

Prase God for the man of God. Love you Pastor I understand what you are saying, but Jesus said it is finished now we have a new covenant we can't mix with the old because it makes the word of no effect, in the parable of the wine Jesus said don't put new wine in old goat skin, John 6:29 says the only work I want you to do is to believe in the one I sent. It's not by works so no man can boast, sin is already paid for, but if we sin you give the enemy an invitation into your life. Am not trying to teach you I learn from you a lot, but I also read & yes pray continually, but were not perfect Romans 3:23. I like your experience in Israel & that pulls me toward your teaching, the Holy Spirit within me lights up the way so I can see where am going. GBY

No one ever wake others the only think you can train is Flesh. We wake ourself. None of Bible stories History, same mind does all good and evil till they WAKE from Flesh. Science, Stars, Religions can save Flesh but never WAKE you, you the ONLY ONE can, no one else can, your Flesh called dark is wrestling with SPIRIT Light, both in you never outside you till you cast out Flesh. Paul taught milk Flesh and meat Spirit, 2Cor 13:5Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates? 6But I trust that ye shall know that we are not reprobates. What does Flesh NOT SEE? Luke 17:20And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation: 21Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you. Your still asleep which means christ in you is still asleep and worried about Flesh.
