What an AMAZING singer & musician. I have been a huge fan for many years & will die a huge fan. I was shocked & so saddened to hear of his passing. He was such a patriot, caring & loving for our vets & loved the God. You will be forever missed.

He was in music over 60 years. Well I will be 60 next month, I have listened to him for as long as I can remember and will listen to CDB for all my days. Hearing him sing amazing grace live is still the best version of that great song you will ever hear to me.

Proud to be a Christian in america or an american Christian? But at least there is america!!!! Using simple English Synonyms (i.e. puppy - young dog, boy - young human male, girl - young human female, calf - newborn or young cow, pledge - Swear, Promise, etc...) I Swear my Life, Soul, and Faith to the Graven Image (flag, not just a Graven Image but THE Graven Image) and to a nation that lives by unGodly Freedoms in the Name of God (no no no, not the american god that is worshiped with it's Graven Image on the 1st day of the week instead of Christ's Father's Sabbath on the 7th) but in the Name of God (Christ's Father) to it's earthly leaders and rulers (republic) to treat and do whatever however they wish to do.... Don't agree at first? Of the things God told humanity TO DO, what does america americans DO? Of the things He told humanity NOT TO DO, what all does america and americans STILL humbly and habitually DO (and they still do these things and teach others) in His Name!!!! So when we hear, "Let's make america great again", when was america fine, much less good or great?

I just finished watching this video.I would have loved meeting Mr. Daniels in person. He was so warm and kind. Totally down to earth. His strong faith in Jesus.He was just like us. Which he was, except for his celebrity.But he never thought of himself any differently. I guess he was Charlie Daniels. That was the name he grew up with. He never forgot,where he came from. What a gifted bold man of God! Have respected him since I was a young gal in Texas! Quite a lengthy list of accomplishments in his life and many, many for the Kingdom of God! Today, 11/19/2020, when I came across this video and commenced watching, I simply had to chuckle with the opening comment about Mr. Daniels, Grammy award was his song: 'The Devil went down to GA' bc it is the same day that GA is requiring a recount of the presidential election votes! Was this man prescient with that song title??! LOL Certain, you heard 'well done, good and faithful servant' when you entered those pearly gates!

While working with WLAC Radio in Nashville as John Saint John back in (deep breath) 1980, I interviewed Charlie on my show one afternoon. He personally invited me to his big Volunteer Jam show later that month, complete with backstage passes! Following a real tough week (the entire staff was soon-to-be fired, in favor of WLAC's-still-News/Talk format), tired and worn out, I passed on his invitation and never attended. To this day, one of my biggest regrets in my radio career. Thanks, Charlie, though, for the great interview, for the smiles, laughs & most bodacious music! I saw Charlie at the Summit in Houston TX when I was in college. One of the best concerts ever; he came back on stage 4 times to keep entertaining the crowd and we loved him.

I’m glad that Charlie got to die with his boots on so the speak. He didn’t waste away in some hospital bed lingering on. He was still able to do what he loved till the end. My grandfather died at 88 and was only sick in bed the last 2 days of his life. He was at home in the house he built himself. God Bless ya Charlie, and RIP! 🙏🤺❤️🇺🇸 😎🏁
