I’d just like to say that watching your videos is such a thrill for me. I have a silly little disorder called “essential tremor” which means, as I’m sure you can guess, that my hands are constantly shaking. No one knows the cause but lots of people have it and it can be quite disruptive. It doesn’t completely limit our capabilities - you’d be surprised how many of us ETs are artists! I cut my husbands hair and some how I manage a good hair cut on him thanks to you and some of the other barbers on youtube - it just takes an age! But your movements are so fluid! What you do is certainly an art form and I envy you massively (in a good way!) Congratulations on such a successful career. You haircut also kicks ass!

Luckily this guy could probably pull off any hairstyle. Once disconnected - Connected now! A year of growing gone in a minute. This is a totally different cut all together. The purpose of a beautiful disconnected style this dude had before, was completely fulfilled! If she "cleaned" it up a bit, if at all, it would have been sufficient.

Take your son to someone else. Don’t do it yourself unless he’s a grown man. I’m a hairstylist and when my son was young it was ALWAYS a constant struggle. It was ruining our relationship! So I started taking him to a pretty, young, lady barber. Best decision ever! Now he’s a grown man, he has me cut his hair and it’s fun for both of us!

This would be a very accepted and great haircut amongst Europe’s top barbers. Many of them do work that looks like this, just because didn’t use any plastic guards or metal blades doesn’t mean she can’t cut hair. It actually means she can. Please don’t speak on things you don’t know, she clearly has dedicated her life to this and doesn’t deserve to be insulted with “women can’t cut”

Beautiful hair! Sorry to see so much of it go. While I think the finished cut looks good, it wasn't wasn't what I was expecting. I've seen hair cutting techniques that can keep much of the top length while connecting the bottom, but this is more like fade-ish with some length on top.

The visual aid helps me see, and watch again if needed, until I feel comfortable that I understand what you do. Your instructions are clear. As is the application. You keep it simple. Thank you. What an amazing artist! Now going to grow my hair long to get a similar cut. His hair looks like it was about to go Legolas if it grew any longer, even though it was good looking, but this cut should give him a longer time to rock that hair style without visiting the shop every two weeks. My hair grows really fast, so I always go with a number 0 fade because after two days, it will be gone already.

I see you, Ms. Amanda, cutting past that second knuckle 😉 everytime I cut past that knuckle, my teach will always call me out on it when she checks the haircut afterwards and she doesn't even has to see me do she'll know because she can see the dip and uneven lines from where that knuckle got in the way. Yet I constantly see professionals, my teachers included, constantly do this effortlessly and without error. I guess it just comes with time and practice. I'm being a nitpick though, overall a fantastic tutorial and very helpful!
