I don't know whos crazier you or the people riding bikes in that cold . I rode in the Conrail caboose back in 2017 or 16 , it was repainted back then . This is a cool like RR to ride and chase . Thanks for braving the weather , Merry Christmas and Happy New Year Buddy .

Well, the bikers you saw, didn't really have a choice. They are local Mennonite and don't have the option of a nice heated vehicle. And I hope to get back there to experience it sometime.

I used to work out that way a lot. I have always wanted to ride it. I believe the Pennsylvania RR caboose is a class N-8. Bowser made an HO version of it. Thanks for sharing the video

Quite disappointed that Allentown auburn doesn’t have a lot of passenger coaches other than a CNJ heavyweight and a flatcar converted to open air gondola.
