As soon as you said it smelled like school glue the nail polish reminded me of basically every kids makeup kit I used to buy my little cousins. I think it is essentially like school glue, it's non toxic & just peels right off.

Jakkie you can use rubbing alcohol in the makeup palettes make to a goo and the put it in a clean palettes that’s mostly how to save a broken palettes that has got in to small pieces! Just a tip to other projects! When the rubbing alcohol drys the palate is whole again ☺️

Lip oil usually doesn’t have a lot of color and is hydrating. Lip stain can be hydrating, but also gives off more color and sometimes the color is long lasting.

Oh my oh my! Ok so I bought one of these 3rd of January. Mind was the turquoise eye shadow pallet. As cute as it was, you are right, it took a while, and the little stamper was eh'. So I was going to almost give up buying any more of the make up one. But .. now as I see you opening up the lip oil and nail polish, I'm game! Now you didn't open up ones to reveal if you got the lip stain, and seeing the pigment of the lip oils, one can only image how potent the lip stains will be! BTW, once you removed most of the lip oil, the color looked amazing on you! But you glow beautifully without make up anyway!

When u stamp the pans, use saran wrap or wax paper, I prefer wax paper, in between the stamp n the pigment. This will allow it to stamp but not stick to ur stamper. I also used tape around all of my pans to control any powder from getting on the outside area. Then peel it off when done. My favorite was the eyeshadow palettes. But all r cute. My grandaughter luvs em. I made her a set as well as kept a set for myself. Plenty of extras too so she can create more when she uses it all. Luv it's all safe for her as well and easy cleanup.

I love these! Not too pigmented for kids either not that I think little kids need makeup but if a younger kid makes these kits I think it’ll be appropriate. Obviously it’s not high end makeup but it’s cute. I’m also glad it didn’t give you a bad reaction Jackie!

The hacks are always on the outside wrapper if it's a pinhole or a number. The only time you can tell what's inside with the second wrapper is when it's a seasonal one and the appliances :)

Also with the eyeshadow the powder isn't mica powder hahaha it's the eyeshadow and you add the liquid just so you can put it into the compact ♡ if you just kept it in the bottle loose it would be a loose pigment shadow ♡♡

Also for anyone having issues with the stamp for the eyeshadow, get a small ribbon and put the ribbon on top of the shadow and stamp over the ribbon and it'll keep the shadow in the pan and not on the stamp and should stay in the pan easier 😊 that's actually how small companies stamp their eyeshadow ♡♡

The oil has the thickness bc of it needed to bond to the eye shadow so you can pack it down an it stay. I'm so hoping they used cosmetic oils an pigments. This is so cool though 😍 I was hoping they would come out with some beauty ones. Have you seen the actual baking ones??

Lip oil is like a lipgloss but mostly seetrought or very sheer and supposed to not dry out your lips and give it a extra shine. Lip stain is like a liquid form of a lipstick but more sheer than a liquid lipstick and suposed to last all day

For your nails.. if you ever want to do polish at home on yourself, RIDGE FILLER!! 💕 I am a former Nail Tech, and one of my best friends also has those lines on her nails and ridge filler is the only thing that will make some polish textures come out correctly.

when I compress the powder I put a napkin in between the stamper and the eyeshadow. keeps the stamper clean and keep all the shadow in the compact .

I like makeup in theory, but in practice it's too much for my sensory issues I don't really like the way it feels on my skin. I only really ever wear for theater or choir concerts when I was highschool. I haven't really had the energy to audition for anything lately because of mental health issues though so I haven't really worn makeup in a while. Nail polish is nice though because it doesn't touch your skin. These kits still look fun though, even if you don't end up wearing it. Nice little activity with lots of colors

For the pigment , add it dry , then pack it/stamp and then add rubbing alcohol....atleast thats how i fix my eyeshadows that break

Jackie, those grooves in your nails can mean you are low on iron, vitamin B12. If you are not sure if you are I would get checked out. It happens to a lot of people in the winter.

The nail polish brush doesn't go all the way down so as to avoid damage to the brush itself but also because nail polish is enamel so you just tilt the bottle to get the bottom assuming it didn't dry out. As a side note do NOT get these for children, enamel fumes are very unhealthy in general but even more for them and it's a pain to cleanup unlike acrylic paint. Given you mentioned it didn't smell much it's a less stinky enamel specifically. You're supposed to do 2-3 coats of it regardless of the brand too so dw about the coverage in 1 coat.

I got one of those and it was the lip stain one you didn’t make and it was really difficult. The stuff is so thick it was hard to get into the tubes. Maybe I should have warmed it up a bit
