when you backing like this, make sure you're tires are almost touching the line. so you know that you will clear you're blind spot.

I was taught using a “s” maneuver. Both look equally effective. But I like the s if you got lots of room.

What is the S maneuver if you don't mind sharing? I'm currently in truck driver school and haven't heard of this kind of maneuver before, but I love learning new and different ways to do things

That's true, people won't get confused. I want the back of the truck to go left"turn the wheels to right" and tail right turn left. Good practice
