Oh, and the Simpsons in 2021 are an embarrassingly corporately compliant shell of what they once were. Morrissey remains Morrissey. The Simpsons are a joke that isn't funny anymore.

In order not to write only the obvious paean, I will ask, listening to the new recordings of Abba - whether for Morrissey Abba it has become a safe enough classic that one day he will sing, for example, a dancing queen ? I agree that the 'Quarry' era was his most physically attractive, but he is older now- almost 64. And his body shape has changed like everyone's does, so I think he goes more for comfort these days, and that is perfectly fine, too.

You might wanna reconsider your comment, or you can just keep it and continue to look stupid. The Simpsons are forgotten. They have to make cheap shots to merely stay alive for another five minutes. Like Rolling Stone magazine, they exist merely to suck, and usually at the expense of real artists. Meanwhile, Morrissey is currently at Caesar's Palace selling out like wildfire. When all is said and done, the Simpsons were a cartoon. Conversely, Morrissey and the Smiths continue to hold the hearts of many millions around the globe for going on 40 years now. They will only get more popular with time. Their artistic contributions will long outlive them.
