Hi Allie-I was so excited when you finished 7th in the Prologue. I watched some of the final but the coverage focused pretty narrowly on the first three runners, so I’m pretty thrilled you had content for this video. That course looked pretty brutal-what did you think about the flower design? Was it helpful in the spacing of aid stations? I know what you mean about coffee-when I was in Rome I could get a cappuccino for 1€. Here in New York City that would be about $4.25. Congratulations on making it through the race, and finishing out the year at 20th in the world. That’s amazing. 🦋

I didn't mind the flower design, but it meant that we had 4 steep descents back into town during the race which drove the elevation gain and loss up....making it a really challenging course! Also, I honestly think it would have been good to have another aid station during the race because it was 70 degrees and 80% humidity!

I think I've complimented you so often on your humor. I love it and it's contagious. But it's your heart when it comes to competing that I find endearing. You have the heart of a lion.. There is nothing more taxing- both mentally and physically- than an uphill/downhill and repeat type race... There's nothing we all like more than rhythm- and these races don't allow it... but, therein lies the challenge and the fun !
