Congrats again, Allie. You crushed it. Your 1:11:10 finish puts you just inside "elite" status, and a spot in the Olympic Marathon Trials 2028 in LA, unless they lower the standard. Prediction one ✔ Now train for a run CIM in Dec. finishing time 2:28:30 or faster. This will qualify you for Chicago Oct 2026, Marathon Project Dec 2026, Boston Apr 2027. As I've been saying for years, you are destined for road marathon greatness. Now execute.

One of the fun and challenging things about the half and marathon is even when you are fully prepared, you never know how you are going to handle the pace in the late stages. It’s kind of like running into the abyss or dark. Hope you’re pleased at your initial effort. I think you did great and am confident there are even faster races ahead for you at this distance and beyond.
