Another thing to mention is that with the drug, you will hallucinate who your opponent is based on their strength. Taejin could be working with Jakes brother, PTJ likes to tell us things and foreshadow things in very odd ways. Samuel actually saw his original father not Gapryong Kim. Vin and Taejin will fight in a future arc, after this arc Vin will probably have his Zack Lee 2A moment where he felt shitty and worthless since he was the only one who lost his fight.

I think Allied will not win on their own fighting Yohan rage, Samuel heated, and UI Daniel. I'm pretty sure Goo will come since he needs to save his secret friends, and I don't think it's Jake's brother who will come since so far we know that he has nothing to do with 4 major crew. So probably Taejin is goo's secret friend too since he called the person in call "Sir" just like what Samuel and Logan calls Goo. And the reason Taejin surprised seeing Jake, maybe he just knows Jake's brother tho or I assume (This is wild) that Taejin is Jake's Brothes son
