Its sitting in my truck fixing the front tire so I can get it out of my truck, mower deck is in really good shape and it has a plow! not terribly rusty for Florida standards, Got it for far less then he was asking... He just wanted it to go to someone who could fix it. No spark the motor turns over though.@@rdmanone

@@deepbludude4697 Most of the old Allis or Simplicity tractors that I buy don't have good spark from the old original coil. I just put an automotive coil on it and they run perfect. Where are you located.

Great little tractor. In such good shape still. Question- what is the little lever just right of the shifter knob that’s pointed downward, I’m just wondering cause I just got my own big ten but I do not know what that lever does. Hope to hear back. Thank you.

I think your talking about the lever along the frame. That engages the mower blades.

Hey rdmanone, could you help me out? My landlord transmission wont go into neutral. The shifter moves into neutral position, but the wheels wont roll. Any ideas on what's wrong? This is really halting my progress.

I had a similar problem not to long ago. Turns out the bolt that holds the shift rod to the transmission just had too much play in it. Or the worst thing it could be is your shift forks are getting wore out.

hey there iv got a simpicity tractor an i was wondering if some of the body parts off of a allis chalmers would work on it because it need a grill dash an hood.

No I was messing around with the engaging the the deck and didn't have the tensioner pulled and the belt flew off.

I have a 1966 Allis Chalmers big ten and a 1964 Allis Chalmers b-10 I'm restoring my Big ten but do you know where I could find a good gas tank for it? And possibly a mower deck
