Allis Chalmers Show: 2021 Orange Spectacular

Our 2021 trip to Orange Spectacular in Hutchinson Minnesota from July 23th through 25 put on by the Upper Midwest A-C Club. This years feature tractor was the D-19 and was bigger than usual since they were together with the Gathering of the Orange. Join us as we take you on a tour of the lines of Allis Chalmers tractors and Implements. Featuring Field Demonstrations including combining with the All Crop Harvester Family, Threshing with Allis Chalmers Threshing Machines, Bailing With the Roto Baler and small Allis Chalmers Square Balers. And plowing with Allis Chalmers tractors big and small. I was raised on A-C and Gleaner equipment and I know 2 local farmers that still run the old stuff. I think that's probably a big reason why they always make a profit, even in bad years-they actually own their equipment free and clear. My son also has about 30 acres that he raises produce on for sale at local farmers markets. He LOVES the little G that I found and restored for him to use!

Also, I tried it today and those clear caps from the hundred series tractors with the Allis-Chalmers triangle logo in the middle will fit perfect in the center of the steering wheel. Takes away your telescoping function, but I like the way it looks.

I went on Saturday. Lots of beautiful orange tractors! My grandpa had an Allis tractor at his cabin. It was either a WD or a WD-45 I don’t remember what one. A neighbor up there bought it a few years ago. I’d like to see if he’d sell it to me. Also the farmer down the road from the cabin has around 6 Allis tractors still. I should stop in there and see if they want to part with any of them.

At 9:48 that looks like a 611 model? My grandparents for years on their farm had a 608LT that I used to mow with, great little tractor for sure. Doesn't look like much difference between the 608 and 611.tt

We had a wd 45, 175, 180, 185,190,3 d 21’s a 210, 220, and a b. My grandpa traded all of them for three brand new 4630 John Deere’s. I wish he didn’t.
