Looks like a nice little D-14. It probably did that tractor a bunch of good being hooked to the plow and worked hard for a few hours. We used to use the Dyno for local tractors that got puttered around. Usually fixed the issues and ran better. Thanks again for the update. Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

I have never been a allis charmers fan but I found this video really interesting

I was impressed with that D-14 pulling that 3 bottom plow so easily. Wasn't skimping on the depth either.

Our dad bought one in 1958 and he couldn't believe that little thing could pull 3 bottoms!

Ours would barely pull a two bottom in the thick red clays of Tennessee. Soil type is everything.
@dwightl58632 жыл бұрын
@@royscarbrough3589 Totally agree with you. Clay has to be the worst.

My Dad used to use a 3 bottom with his WD wide front for many years. We used 5 prongs chisel with D17 series four wide front. It could do 4/5 bottom plow.

@@royscarbrough3589 yeah, that 3 bottom would stop him dead in the area of Kentucky where i grew up! You can barely pull 2 bottoms with a super c or 230 farmall here.

i have always bean partial to a d19. They have a lot of power and the economy that say a d21 wont have. they ae also less collectible then a d21 so the treasury at elis farm toys can dish out the money to get one.

Very cool little tip on the early decals! I want a D12 or a D15. Maybe an Orchard one day.

There's something hypnotic about plowing. That's a lovely place you have there.

l remember the d 14 came out and farmer would trade their wd in for a d14 and complain about the d14 didnt have the power the WD had but they forgot they had their WD overhauled with the 45 kit and it had a edge over the d14 but the ride and the big stick power was an improvement over the WD!!!!!! have you guys hear of scamp lawn momers by AC??? l have one with the rounded platform! l cant find any pictures of them l see picture of ones that look like the old snappers just wondering!! l will be watchin!!!!!!!!

A D14 is a good consolation prize when you can't find a D15.
