Contact me: sparksfireandbalingwire@gmail.com Replacing the broken return springs on the brakes, installing the snap coupler and right frame rail. This video got longer than expected, so I'm splitting it into two parts.

I have a '53 WD45 and unlike modern tractors, these types were designed to be worked on and repaired on the farm. Generations of mechanics learned the basics from machines such as these. An actual pleasure to own.

Man Jason I’ll tell ya, every time I see an update on that tractor it just puts a smile on my face. It’s so amazing to see how far it’s come in these past few months. That homemade bushing you made was pretty resourceful, and the idea you had to add a grease fitting on that carrier bearing seems like a far better alternative then having to tear it all apart just to grease it. Looking forward to the next upload man keep’em coming!👍

Thanks Cody! All those hours of sanding and stripping are finally paying off. Now if some parts would just show up. I do at least have enough footage for another video. I had a lot more than I thought here, so I'm splitting it into two parts.

That traction boost setup is very interesting 😃 I have never heard of that before. That machine is coming together nicely and it's looking like a million bucks! 😃👍 keep up the great work Jason! Cant wait for the 2nd part 👍

Thanks Zane. I think the snap coupler and traction boost were big selling points at the time. As we all know, Ford/Ferguson's 3 point system became the standard for implement attachment. The traction boost was maybe just ahead of its time, but still kind of simple by today's standards

Crazy how a video can tailspin on ya isn’t it, I’ve had many vids that could have easily been 45 minutes plus 😂. She’s coming together nice, every update I’m blown away how far it’s come! Enjoyed it my friend, can’t wait for the next upload!
