Hey everyone, I appreciate the feedback and that last video was not up to this channels quality (that is all I can say for now). It's okay to make a few errors but not 100 in one video 🤔

there you go.

There seems to be a problem, the video doesn't even start to play (keeps buffering; July 31st, 14:45h UTC) EDIT: Just noticed the same problem with other channels from the northern US and Canada. Might be a server issue.

@@human_isomer Hmm strange it works here, maybe let me know if it does not work tonight?

@@Tech_Planet seems to work again now. Maybe just a glitch in the net.

Great upload thank you! I was excited to see the notification. Wow looks like same complexity as the inside of a rocket. Probably felt like it also

Thanks for watching! Yes, the first turbines(especially turboprops) were indeed revolutionary but they had to go through a lot of refinements!

Thank you for the much needed and prompt turn around of this channel, have been subbed for about a year now. Having you as the face is important to the long-term survival of this channel. ❤️

Yes, I didn't like the quality either so I'm making all the content again! Thanks for staying subbed!

How can an engine only be shut down by throwing debris in it? Can't they just cut the fuel? And why in the world is debris pronounced as debree?
@everettstormy2 жыл бұрын
Lmao this guys asking the real questions. I'm guessing it was having a runaway like diesels. The oil lubricating it was burning and they couldn't safely drain the oil which is pumped through the engine mechanically.

One propeller sheered off, damaging the fuselage and cutting controls. The plane crashed and it had to be shut down "manually". In other words, it had excellent safety features!

Great video as always! You deserve a whole lot more subs and likes than what I currently see.

So the engineers who developed it didn't put a fuel shut off they had to throw stuff in the engine to stop it? Where do they go to school to learn engineering?

Yeah Allison engines are pretty legendary. I wander if it's the same company that makes Allison transmissions

There is just something about the way you tell them, that makes the videos much more interesting to watch. the other narrators sounded toneless and flat!

Thanks, those other narrators are not coming back on.

At that time, the TU-95 with 12500 hp engines was already flying in the USSR. You are weak. В СССР тогда уже летал ТУ-95 с двигателями 12500 л.с. Слабоваты вы.

At which time? The T40 was 4 years ahead of the Kuznetsov TV-2 so we are talking about 2 different things. The TV-2 was still a beast though, definitely beat out some the 56 early designs.
@ВалерийХарченко-ш5д2 жыл бұрын
@@Tech_Planet, even the dual TV-2 was 2 times more powerful than the T40, also dual. Даже спарка TV-2 была в 2 раза мощнее чем Т40.
