So awesome! I sailed the same channels, with the same destination, stopping in many of the same harbors, a few years ago. The hard part reflecting back is that Alaska never leaves, you always want more. Enjoy!

That’s amazing! Agreed, it really leaves a lasting impact. Editing these very much living in reverie, we might have to head back for more!

I was born and raised in Alaska,it warmer my heart to see you pull the anchor by hand as that was my job for many years. Your filming eye is doing great justice to the wide open space of Alaska. You folks are great.

Awe, that’s amazing! It’s a great compliment to hear we’re doing the landscape justice, we put immense pressure on ourselves attempting to capture it well. So thanks so much for that!

Thank You for your new episode) Love your attitude of having a glass half full and not half empty)) Way to Go! We're spending our winter currently in a very warm Mazatlan, Mexico. So watching You cruising cool Alaska waters among the glaciers and such, kind of making us a bit cooler )))) Anyway, I'm raising my Tequila cocktail glass in your honour guys! We'll be back to our beautiful BC in less than 5 months and start our new cruising season as well. Cheers! Looking forward to your new episode, as always)

Awe thanks so much for that! Glad we’re helping to keep cool! 🧊 We certainly would appreciate sipping a cocktail in a warm place such as that right about now, thanks for enjoying one for us! Hope to run into you up here, maybe share an anchorage and a beverage together soon. Cheers!

When ever you are near glaciers, capture some ice that has broken free and put it in your ice box, it will last forever.
@AllisonandJamesSailing8 сағат бұрын
It really does! It’s so dense and lasts forever. Kept our coolers (and drinks) cold all Summer, cheers!

You both look wonderful and so happy! Was wondering where you were adventuring off to. Alaska is so beautiful and that inland passage though so pretty can be very trying at times. Sailed a portion of it many years ago. Thank you for sharing.🦉🍁🫎🦫🦦❤

Awh, thank you! Being out here definitely keeps you healthy. We hope to keep to a bi-weekly posting schedule although they are a lot of work! The passage is stunning but challenging at times for sure. More about that in upcoming episodes. Stoked to share those with you. Thank you for writing!

You don't need to answer my previous question; it appears that you have replaced your drowned drone (now that I've watched a couple of times; some shots are obviously from a drone...duh!). Keep up the good work you guys. Um...so winter's coming on soon. Are you back home by now, I presume?
@wastinson3 сағат бұрын
I take it back. I guess what I saw is FUTURE footage so I'm guessing that you picked up a new drone in ?Petersburg maybe. Twas I who was confused. Enjoy.
@AllisonandJamesSailingСағат бұрын
Correct! We couldn’t continue into the best parts of Alaska without a good aerial camera, especially heading up to the glaciers! But we were drone-less for a couple of episodes.. Winter is indeed close at hand, we’re back in Canada for the time being. Working hard to fill the cruising kitty to fund the next szn💫
