We got a corgi puppy back in December (the light of my life 😍) and he also had trouble napping!! I would have to put him in his playpen to wind him down and as long as I was in the room with him he would go to sleep. Now at 4 months old he naps voluntarily and is content to be by himself. It just takes time, but every puppy is different of course 🥰 everyone has things that worked for them but of course all of our dogs aren’t the same, so don’t feel overwhelmed! Just do whatever you think is best for Palmer 🥰!

Allison, I’ve been catching up on all your recent videos 🥰 it’s like catching up with friend. I can definitely relate to your doggie mama journey. For Palmer’s excitability in the car, I recommend the SlowTon dog seatbelts from Amazon! They loop around the headrest of the back seat of your car and have a clip for the harness loops. There’s also a locking mechanism you can switch on to prevent it from coming unbuckled from around the headrest. If not, there’s also a Vastar seatbelt from Amazon that has 2 pieces & buckles into the 2 backseat seatbelt buckles and either side clips onto a loop of the harness. 💞 both brands of seatbelts are adjustable

I HIGHLY recommend the whistle app & device! I have two dogs (both 2 years old) but they used whistle when they were pups. I know Palmer is microchipped, but it does track their location super conveniently through your phone. It also allows you to know how much exercise and rest he should be getting. There’s also a lot of different features that I love. Best, 🧡
