*Hi friends! Please let me know what you think of this foundation. I was waiting to try it out during the winter months because of how hydrating and moisturizing it is. I like this foundation, but I don’t think I love it. Don’t get me wrong, it works well for me but it isn’t as life changing as the Chanel Sublimage concealer was when I tried it. Do you mean you love the Chanel Sublimage serum foundation more or the concealer? I appreciate the clarification as I am very dry, mature, premenopausal and looking for a very light weight but beautiful and healthy skin care foundation.

SO glad you reviewed this foundation as I had been considering it for awhile. I really need a good anti-aging/skincare foundation & in truth, of the Dior line, the 3N is absolutely the best shade match for me of any of foundation varieties Dior offers…strange, but true!👍😊

I love this foundation. I think it works best with brush application instead of sponge, though. LOVE the eyeshadow, Allie! Gorgeous as always!

So glad someone has finally someone has done a review on this foundation. I started using these foundation,at age 57 I instantly saw the results. As forward 5 years later I am still using this foundation it does plump instantly . When I first try this on they did have of my face and I saw the difference ! Now I am 62 tow years old I still really live this foundation because it does smooth, find lines, plumps up of the skin and gives a nice glow. I am in the fairest color even though it’s expensive are usually replace it every six months which isn’t that bad and warmer months I just use less. I have try others but nothing compares to Dior capture totale . I don’t think you ned this foundation if your in your 30’s or 40’s unless you really have dry skin. Or noticing those fine lines. When I work out I yes too use there tinted cc cream . It was in a blue tube but they got rid of it. Now I am sampling, Lair Marcie tinted moisturizer . If you know of a good tinted moisturizer with some kids of coverage, please let me know. Again thank you for these review , It’s not mentioned enough in my opinion how good it is if you know of something similar to this I’d be willing to try the difference. Thank you Marina

I am combo skinned and tried this today in 2N and 2W. It is quite a humid warm day here and I am no oily than with any other foundation. It sits beautifully on my dry cheeks though. It is a very forgiving colour wise.

I like Dior foundations and just finished a Forever Skin. I also use the Dreamskin compact. Sounds like it compares to Chanel's waterfresh tints in the coverage department. BTW, your eyeshadow is gorgeous!

Thanks for the review, Allison. I got a sample last year and I didn't like it. I much more preferred the discontinued Dolce & Gabbana Creamy Foundation which had this amazing plumping finish, boarder line dewy for my taste. Maybe it's also due to the fact that Dior has not the perfect shade match as my OG Armani Luminous Silk in 5.5. This is a tad too deep right now, but the peachy undertone a dead on match. I would be very much interested to see foundation reviews like these. I don't necessarily think that it always has to be newest on the market but with an unique property to it 🤩

I love this foundation! I am in the same shade as you are in foundations, it seems. I’m much older than you, and it does firm 😉. I also have dry skin, and thankful we move to humid, hot, south Fla. so, it’s summer all year here. However the AC is drying when inside.

Looks gorgeous! I definitely appreciate the reviews that are not driven by release hype! I saw a masterclass with the Capture Totale serum and lotion and was wowed so I am trying those. I’m also trying samples of the Sublimage foundation in a jar - any thoughts on how they compare?

Oh great question! The Chanel one is going to have way less coverage but I think that’s where the differences end. Also, Dior claims to be more blurring or textures and pores.

Allô Allison! J’ai essayé ce fond de teint sous les recommandations de mon conseillers Dior. J’adore le fini mais malheureusement il oxyde terriblement sur ma peau . Comme j’utilisais la teinte la plus pâle , je n’avais pas d’autres options. Une fois la teinte oxydée , je ne l’aimais plus car il était vraiment trop foncé pour moi …. J’ai souvent eu ce problème avec les fond de teint de Dior…. Merci ! 🌷

Salut! Wow c’est vraiment dommage que ce fdt oxide tellement pour toi. Si non, il y a le fdt Sublimage de Chanel, celui dans un pot. Il est très hydratant mais couvre moins.

I am 42 and I love it. This one, Chantecaille and the Lisa Eldridge foundations are my holy grails. Chanel does not work for me, none of them. They look good for few hours and then somethung changes. I have drier skin. It is not dry everywhere but it is on the drier side. And these 3 I mentioned look good all day. Chanel is drying and yet looks oily after 8 hours or so. This one is the only Dior which works for me, I am not a fan of the other ones as they also dry my skin out- i guess the alcohol and perfume is just not working for me

I have bought that foundation months ago and don't like it at all! I am 54, dry mature skin and I don't think there is enough luminosity or hydration. Maybe it will work better during summer....I hope! 😕

I use shade 1.5, have normal to dry skin with dry skin patches and visible pores around my nose. It looks fantastic on the perimeter of my face, like my cheeks and my forehead but. .. it does nothing for my pores and after about 3-4 hours it looks cakey around my nose and on my chin and it settles into the folds around my mouth. I am 38 years old, I somewhat like it but it is not great, I won't repurchase
