When I click on a Dr. Allison Young video, my blood pressure immediately drops down, my stress level goes away and a smile breaks out of it's frowning prison. Hence the honorific.

As a drift irreversibly into old age, it is a comfort to know that these old song gems (predating me by a couple of decades) are going to be lovingly passed along into the future by such excellent artists.

Your Grannie's music is my Mother's music. I still have her Ink Spots album which was made before albums became 12 inch disks; they were only 10 inch at the time. I love your work and I appreciate the fact that you don't ruin songs by trying to be a "Song Stylist". I love hearing them done as they originally were. You have an incredible voice and I hope you can make it make you wealthy. Keep up the fabulous work. :)

Thanks for the history of the song. It’s one of those things, you know you’ve heard it before, but can’t remember where or when. So this is a song my mom would have listened to on the radio, or maybe her Dad and his friends would have played it while hanging out together. The good songs never die.

Since you're covering Fats Waller, I'd love to hear you do a couple of his more obscure ones: "Night Wind" and "I Wish That I Were Twins." And while we're at it, "On the Sunny Side of the Street," which he claimed was stolen from him. Love your videos! The old music keeps me young!

Love this song. Fats Waller was just one of those song writer/performers who was a joy to watch. Thanks for this. Wished I could have seen him live, yet with this venue and all the others we can enjoy all the past and present greats with just a finger tap. A lot of this new generation stuff is, well, pretty good. Thank you again for reminding me of an old song with a good memory attached to it.
