This is not the K-20940. More likely, this is the 52140000 probably bought from Costco. If you notice, he has to take the liner out of the can to change the bag. The 20940 has a locking rim, which can be lifted and exposes the rim of the liner allowing someone to change the bag from inside. Saw reviews where this locking rim lifted a bit when the pedal was depressed, so not sure which version is best.

I read other reviews and negative comments were made on the underside of the trash can overtime the plastic piece that controls the foot petal broke easily.

I try. I should have took a few extra seconds to read exactly what the garbage can was, so I don't sound so dumb. I was so frustrated with the Simple Human garbage can at the time, since it only lasted a few months before it broke. I did not even want to read the brand name. LOL

Great video! We have the same trash can and we can’t get the plastic liner to “latch” when we try to prop up the liner to change the bag. I’ve tried tilting the liner to the front, to the back, lifting it slowly and putting it back in slowly, nothing works. Do you know how to use this function?

The biggest problem with this trash can is cleaning the inside of it. Particles of food and other trash will inevitably fall into the outer well. You can't just turn it upside down and dump it out and it is not designed in such a way as to pull out the bottom so the particles can dump out (like a toaster bottom--that would have been too easy to design). Particles of trash get caught in all the nooks and crannies of the inside well, especially under the upper lip, and removing it requires vacuuming out the inside. You can wash it out with a hose, but now you have trash AND water you can't get out unless you leave it to dry out all day. Otherwise, it's a good can.
