Mesiler has cost us several times now, i do not feel confident getting promoted with him in goal it wont matter how good we are if we have a keeper with that much incompetence in goal! Honest and balanced as always Jack. Game we deserved to win IMO. Our best performance of the season by a country mile. I agree Mes shouldn’t have let the ball bounce. The ball hit Firpo on the head which put spin on it. As soon as it hit the floor the spin took it away from Mes. Not an excuse as I was fuming at the time but tying to be balanced. I would have taken a point before the game but it felt like a loss at the end. Gutted.

These things happen because of poor management strategies. We were 2-1 up and dominating the MF ... Gnonto was on top of his game giving teir defenders all kingsize headaches. What does farke do? Instead of going for the third, he instructs them to slow the game down, go sideways-backwards and waste time. Sick of him. Forgot promotion.

I’m not gonna lie it was painful, however I think Meslier will recover from it, all keepers have blunders and he had great saves, one shakey clearance + I don’t think the concussion helped from Struijk! Also good to mention that Piroe was offside for the first goal and we had a ref decision go our way in the build up to the second…so maybe a draw doesn’t feel so unfair! Or so I’m telling myself! 😭😂 we really are the spurs of the championship recently.

When we went two one up , good teams would have gone for the kill, Leeds just sat back, no good. As for Meslier, he took his eye of the ball,simple as, no excuses. We are a long way from the team that the majority of the rose tinted glasses fans think. Firpo and Bogle are hopeless defenders. It was Bogle’s needless foul that led to the foul that resulted in the Sunderland equaliser. Don’t get me wrong it was a complete cock up by Meslier. Rothwell had a very good game, a midfielder prepared to pass forward.
