Hi, How do we run it only at night when there is no power and when the power comes on it switch off, is it possible with the control or do i need a timer?

They don’t monitor this. As far as I can tell, the GR doesn’t come with a solar panel. I’d either set it for sundown to sun up operation, or schedule hours.
