Chad Gaismagorm: - Canonically has endured 4 dragonator shots, one of which it deflected with its arm. - Gets astronomically stronger despite being hit by 3 dragonators and knocked down a massive crater twice. - Only lost to flagship because flagship stole abilities from it and starved it. Virgin Shara Ishvalda: - Hides behind rock armor the first 3rd of the fight. - Is a dumbass and thinks it can take on the entire New World guild, gets bodied before it can even land one hit on them. - Canonically preyed upon by flagship monster, said flagship which gets uppercutted by Rajang, thrashed around by Deviljho, flees from a Teo and Luna pair and whose only confirmed solo kills are against a Barroth and a Bazelgeuse.

@@HennryHammerhead Yeah, and Nergigante is an overrated piece of trash… No offense to his fans. Despite being the “eater of elders” the only confirmed kill he got on an Elder Dragon was Shara Ishvalda who was already beaten to near death (Nergi was also injured but it has regeneration and didn’t push itself nearly as hard as Shara did). It being able to beat Elder Dragons in turf wars isn’t even that impressive anymore as by Rise Magnamolo and Espinas does the same, in cutscenes Golden Rathian also defeats Kushala Daora pretty easily with it being implied Furious Rajang did the same. Nergigante would definitely have been just another mid tier Elder if Capcom didn’t wank the ever loving shit out of it with NPC dialogue and anniversary books.

First is Sunbreak is a lot more easy going with how many of the momsters are scaled as far as power goes, and it tends to be a lot more difficult to determine which monsters have more power than it was in Iceborn. Going off that and into my second point is that Sunbreak is a lot less focused on tge ecoligy and realism of the Monster Hunter world than Iceborn was, so it makes sence that they would gear the monsters to resemval what their real life counter parts would act like. Cimpare that to Sunbreak where magnomalo is able to fend off the All Mother Narwa when in any other situation he would not survive long amd its easy to see how nergegante might be considered mid tier at best. And on the subject of Nergegante, its important to remember that he is a brute in every sence of the word. While him killing Shara might be his only confirmed kill you need to remember his species subsist almost solely on the energy he gets from elder dragons. A good way of thinking about it is that elder dragons are to him what the rampage monsters are to magnomalo. Now do I think he could kill giasmagorm? Not really. But at the same time I dont think Giasmagorm could easily kill Nergegante either, I mean the dude tried to eat a walking mountain after all. And when it comes to Nergegante fighting Rajang all he really does to him is the monster equivalent of a bitch slap to get him off in their turf wars so I dont think that really applies here.

Thought this was just normal Thunder Serpent Narwa for a good moment until I realized that the bright lighting of the Yawning Abyss probably takes away from the multi-color glow she usually emits. That, and I finally noticed the obvious windsacs on her arms and back. Almost missed one on her tail as well. EDIT: The flip? This actually is Thunder Serpent Narwa, the fin and windsac colors/sizes are all different than what I first remembered; I’ve bamboozled myself.

@@TheElino Allmother isn't yellow, she's more greenish and she glows purple. Regular Narwa is more yellow and doesn't glow as much. While the one they spawned is technically Allmother, due incorrect data values she has regular Narwa's textures

I think if one were to let to play out this fight in its entirity (and somehow remove the scripted parts), odds are it's gonna go to Narwa unless there's an utterly insane difference in HP. She seems to be getting a lot more hits in and with the constant thunderblight she's inflicting she'd probably get a few K.O.s as well.

If this was an actual like fight fight I can see it going slightly to Gaismos side His big stature plus arms allow him to grapple Narwa with ease his size also allows him to from the looks of it just bite Narwas whole torso Although he's really slow this is where Narwas advantage start She's faster and can fly and has alot of projectiles this will allow her to manuver away from Gais and shoot at a safe distance

Narwa definitely would beat Gaismagorm, the person above me has a full explanation but I will just say a couple words. Narwa is not only far more intelligent then Gaismagorm, and especially more crafty, being able to guess where the hunter is going and following up with a successful after attack making lethal combos as the fight goes on. Narwa also has flight and Gaismagorm does not, I have not seen anyone talk about this but Narwa’s giant thunder beam should prove to be quite deadly in a fight especially with the after explosions. Narwa is also capable of controlling wind and when seen in a cutscene, Ibushi was able to decimate an entire forest easily, we have reason to believe Narwa is capable of this if not more so. Narwa also controls the dragon element, which tbh she doesn’t use much of (at least not the same amount of dragon as Savage or Alatreon) which is quite lethal to elders. And finally, most important of all Narwa can fly, this gives her an impossible advantage over Gaismagorm as the one thing Gaismagorm has over her (besides size) is his strength which he can’t use if Narwa was in the air. Narwa’s nuke is also a very large advantage as she can use it and guarantee a hit upon Gaismagorm, along with the fact that Gaismagorm really depends on the qurio for its power, without them continuously helping it, it has no choice but to die. Honestly, I see this as a dub for Narwa.

Except unlike the Warbats, Narwa by nature has thundersac near the tip of her tail to produce electricity. And we know that Narwa has some tail attacks that involve her releasing lightning pulses. So grabbing Narwa by her tail would be a bad idea as Gaismagorm would likely be still get electrocuted and would feel the pain as he is quite weak to Thunder with 2 Stars effectiveness. Narwa is essentially like a electric eel but on streroids.

In an actual fight, Gaismagorm would just send out the Qurio as according to their description, their teeth can pierce anything. Therefore, Narwa gets drained and Gaismagorm becomes high on Narwa's life force. But this begs the question, can they pierce through Fatalis if the description said they could pierce through *anything?* Probably yes.

@@TheHunterhunter999 The Qurio can't kill elders by sucking them dry. And all elders can straight up overcome the virus that the Qurio spread. And not just overcome it ( even if it does take quite a toll on their bodies ), they can become risen, and thus become significantly more powerful. The best thing the Qurio could manage would be, weakening Narwa for a short amount of time, before her antibodies kick in

@@TheOrokamonoHunter Nope, it's stated in one of Narwa's materials that even lightning strikes would only feel like bug bites for her due to her well insulated carapace. Most if not all parts of her body is coursing with "flesh singeing electricity". Considering she's a high tier Elder Dragon, the electricity she produces should be way deadlier than that of Zinogre & Rajang. In short, those Quiro swarms wouldn't be even able to touch her in the first place.

Hey quick question, I got my friend into watching some of your fights but they say there should be stamina bars, I'm just wondering if there are even numbers for the stamina or something you could fit into a bar, cause they do affect the fights a lot and are usually the deciding factor in a battle, so they said it would be nice to see a bar for it under the health, but is that even possible?

@Andrew Warburton sorry for the late response, we decided to leave the stamina out of videos as they can be distracting visually. Though stamina does play an important role, but there are an host other equally important factors to consider as well, for example every monster has different dps value, hitbox range, speed and etc. Finally, we always keep stamina to there true values as defined by Capcom to keep fights fair.

Does anyone else get some sort of reference between narwa,ibushi and gaismagorm. All three of them show almost the same traits except for gaismagorm who looks like a defected ibushi with secondary arms and a heavy body. Could the demon title of him work as a hint towards gais being a defected ibushi(fallen angel I suppose) like how some variant monsters exist because of how deformed they are except in gaismagorms case,he’s very deformed from what he was supposed to be

Gaisma would probably win almost every close quarters fight, with Shara. Shara might win more often in ranged combat.

Tough to estimate, really. I guess it depends how resilient Shara's rock armour is to Gaisma's explosions and how resilient Gaismagorms skin is to Shara's sound attacks. I'd say odds are probably in favour of Gaismagorm as it is more heavily built and I suspect its explosions are more effective against large opponents than the sound beams.

@@Zephyr-lp2mi Yeh, but the thing is, rocks are hard, rigid formations made from tiny grains of minerals, which means their structure can be disrupted by certain frequencies. Trained singers are able to shatter thin glass with their voice, but that doesn't mean they can hurt someone with it (other than possibly blowing out their eardrums). Flesh is generally quite flexible and elastic, so it's not particularily bothered by vibrations and much more concerned about brute force, something rocks in return could resist quite well.

I'm convinced these two are related, with how similar their hands and feet are, especially their mouths, heads, and horns as well as being responsible for significant ecological phenomenons. The symbolism on top of it, with Gaisma alluded to having once been a creature of the skies like Narwa while Narwa remains angelic, quite literally a demon and a deity.
