I think Muramasa is the most unique when it comes to servant using other body as vessel. Unlike waver who gain full control of his body and still regain his personality without influence, and unlike Isthar who got influence by Rin. Muramasa personality actually are Shirou in what if scenario. If shirou live muramasa life, thats how he is.

Well the servant description says that “this could be Muramasa himself with the influence of the vessel or his persona could be that of the vessel if he were old” both are true as this is Muramasa himself with the influence of Shirou as seen here and hypothetically he is how Shirou would’ve been is he grew old, given that he is a fusion of both Muramasa and Shirou both descriptions are true. This is unlike Waver, Sitonai, Amor, Rasputin, Ganesha and Reines (to some degree) all have their heroic spirit dormant while they are in full control.

It is more like his Skills in fixing stuff of modern age appliances even tho he was supposed to from ancient Japan is what makes them shocked. Think about it like this, people like Tamomo or Raikou know how to use things like stove, oven, and other cooking tools. But do you think they can fix those tools and stuff like Muramasa can? Unless they learned for it, it will be hard for them. (Exception being to Servants who are Genius like Edison or Tesla)
