That was spectacular. The oohs and ahhs that emitted from the room as we observed this masterpiece being assembled said it all. I would have never considered spending $169 on Legos but I'm in. Honestly I'm in just for the tiny Mario who's face only consists of a sweet mustache. Great video and I loved the ending.

What was a hardest part about building this set? For me it was putting the rubber bands in place

Any tips for the part 155. It’s the bottom part of the question mark where the wheel is. When I close it the bottom corners come lose. Is it supposed to do that? When I leave the “door” open the corners stay intact. Thanks

I wasn’t expecting them to make something like this, but man, is it awesome! 😃 I mean, granted, it is a bit strange that they went with the traditional ?-Block, and not the !-Block from Super Mario 64, but who cares, the functionality of said Block is really cool! Plus you just gotta love the attention of details like having 3 levels from the game as well as Princess Peach’s Castle in LEGO form! You even get to replicate the classic part of having Mario grabbing Bowser’s tail, and swinging him around until you decide to throw him (even if I never liked the fights myself personally)! I can’t believe that it’s already been 25 years since SM64 came out (god, I’m old), and this has been a perfect celebration for Mario’s first 3D adventure, as well as fans of the game! Also very cool that it was made by SM64 fans FOR SN64 fans (wish they could’ve included elements from the DS remake too, but, oh, well)! Here’s hoping they’ll do more for other 3D Mario games such as Sunshine, Galaxy 1, and 2, 3D Land, 3D World, Odyssey, and Bowser’s Fury! HAPPY 25TH ANNIVERSARY, SUPER MARIO 64!!!!! 🎊🎉🎈🍾👏 Happy Thanksgiving too! 🦃

Thank you for showing the castle movement in action. The book's picture made it seem like the castle was supposed to stay down, and i couldnt figure out why mine kept popping back up. I readjusted the bands so many times thinking they were the problem. I really didnt want to have to take it apart for a closer look at the connection but that would have been my next step.
