Alloa To Glasgow Queen Street | First Looks | Class 385 Scotrail | Train Sim Classic

Hello and welcome back to another episode of Train Sim Classic!
Today we're going to be looking at the brand new route from Thomson Interactive for Train Sim Classic. This will feature a modern take on the Edinburgh - Glasgow route as far as Croy, where it branches off towards Dunblane and the Alloa branch.
We're driving a 4 car Class 385 Scotrail EMU. Starting at Alloa we'll be operating an all stops service down towards Glasgow Queen Street. Let's see what the route has to offer and whether we think it's any good!

I bought this last night after it came out and the first thing I was using on it was an 802 followed by a 317/7. I have not tried the 385 yet but the only bad points in the reviews where about the 385, so I went straight for AP stock even though they were a little out of place.

Top tip Joe - RTFM! But Shift+B or CTRL+B Someting like that for the other horn so it's some different key bind I remember seeing that on ATS Review but good god Thomson needs to improve their s**t or allow the payware devs to mod their stuff it's so stupid putting that clause in their T&C's! But it is what it is if they'd do their job properly we'd not need others to fix it but as it is AP Can't do anything with Thomson stuff real shame.....

I I heard Joe for city bus is doing an hour long video is one whole hour Hull city bus content I heard about it I'm not too sure if this is too true or not but who loves city bus you got a nowhere to sit and watch it and then love it and enjoy it😊

I hate looking through those narrow front windows as it feels like you are doing much less speed, I could be doing 50 and it feels like 30. At least the Bombardier Electrostars have that side window for the platform mirrors that gives you more of a feeling of the speed.

It''s a very well made route, and runs smoothly - but what exactly was the point of 35 miles?, just an excuse to run the EMU shuttle from Glasgow to Dunblane. It should have also gone further to at least Perth or Edinburgh again, or failing that maybe the line from Barnhill to Greenhill via Cumbernauld. It's otherwise a bit useless.

I'd say this worth about £19.99 tops. It's 35 miles long. And it sounds like THAT. Thomson have lost the plot releasing it with those sounds. They sound like you're outside the cab, Sellotaped to a traction motor! It's not just the volume level. It's the lack of reverb that would be affecting the sound inside a heavily insulated cab.

I think with the windows being so far away, unlike say on a Class 158 where the window is closer, it does make them feel even smaller!
