I thought that was lovely. I had never heard her before so it was a very new experience for me. I don't know if I would call it enthralling, but it held my interest all the way through. I do love finding out what artists strike a chord with people, and how different those artists can be. I know that one of the artists that I love the most couldn't be more different but his voice draws me in like Azam Ali's does with you. And, I can't begin to explain why. That we all have room in our hearts for so many different kinds of music, is a great gift given to us as humans. If you have never heard the song "Music" by Nightwish, you might want to listen. I have a feeling you might connect with it. The lyric video is beautiful visually, as well.

I surely discover a lot of songs and bands watching your videos even if sometimes it is not what I would listen to , It's always good to see different genres and artists instead of being closed for everything that is generally not my type of music.

That was beautiful. Foreign language in a song does not bother me at all because I don't understand English words in a song either. My hearing impairment doesn't allow me to distinguish the difference between one consonant or another. If I like the sound of the voice and music I'm good to go! This is a winner for me.

I only have got one album with her on vocals which is "In the Garden of Souls" by Vas. My favourite songs on that album are the title track and "Prayer for Soheil" (IMO the most beautiful song on that album). There are a few female Persian/Iranian vocalists I discovered over the years, most of which I have also seen live. The first one I heard 24 years ago was Sima Bina, then Parissa, the sisters Mahsa and Marjan Vahdat and my currently favourite one, Mahdieh Mohammadkhani. I would like to recommend you two songs featuring the latter. The first one is a song titled "Mehrgiah" on which she is accompanied by the female Delban Ensemble: kzbin.info/www/bejne/qKO1Z4iBnMRrf6s (Hamid Motabassem is the composer of this song and he is the husband of Samira Golbaz, the Setar-player of this female ensemble) Unfortunately, this seems to be the only clip featuring Mahdieh Mohammadkhani together with this ensemble. The second (incredibly beautiful) song is "Moon and Mirror" (also the lyrics of this song are in Persian): kzbin.info/www/bejne/npnNp5-dm72kjqc The composer, who also plays Setar in this song, is Azad Mirzapour. Both songs are posted on the vocalist's official YT-channel.
