I wasn't a believer until that first 4th & 1 where they surged forward for like 4 yards on a QB sneak. I honestly can't remember the last time Penn State has been able to consistently get the 1 yard they need on straightforward plays like that.

Whats amazing is the separation between these 2 teams over last 2 years. Penn State is getting much much better and Iowa (and rest of Big10 West) is getting much much worse. Penn State has the depth they didn’t have 2 years ago. Give Franklin props he is using the portal REALLY well.

Franklin is using the portal when needed, but give him tons of credit and our staff as well, because they have been building depth in recruiting for quite some time now, it is paying off!!!!
