Hi John. I'm after your advice on the allpowers r2500. I've the s2000 x they are fine. I am looking to upgrade to this model due to charging time off AC, it's capacity is better than. S2000. Also 6 year warranty. Now you've had this device for over a year, what's your thoughts on reliability. I wish to charger pvy bikes, whilst this is lump, I am interested in your experience. Did consider ecowflow, however, your previous experience of their product put me off, especially after their treatment of you. Cheers, I hope you can reply Paul

Thanks for the review, I would find that heavy for me. Would you say this is one of the better ones on the market?🤨
@GadgetJohn Жыл бұрын
I would say they’re all getting very close now, so choose the best spec for the best price.

I found a returned S2000 for £650 😀 I used your amazon link so hopefully your channel benefits a little from it. Now I just need an affordable set of solar panels. Any suggestions/recommendations? I would buy used but haven't found any at a reasonable price.

Oh thank you so much 👍🏻 most folding solar panels are build the same way once you go over 100w, so choose one with good reviews and for the S2000 that’s 400w max.

Nice review John, when pitched-up and on hook-up I guess you keep the Power Station in the van and charge it on 240v - do you ever see any issue with voltage drop or insufficient power to charge these Power Stations? Cheers
@GadgetJohn Жыл бұрын
You can power this up via hookup and then have it power your van so if the campsite power goes off the power station takes over. There are 3 ways to charge them, all the ways to charge are standardised.

@@GadgetJohn kind of getting interested in these to provide the 240v side of things in the van, most of the time we would charge it by solar but when at a campsite would park in the shade and charge via hook-up. Just wondering whether there’s any voltage drop or insufficient power issues on a long hook-up cable 👍🏼
@GadgetJohn Жыл бұрын
240v mains is the same from the socket in your house to an inverter, they make hookup cables a set length so you don’t get a voltage drop.

@@GadgetJohn it did go through my mind this morning that Caravan owners use high power items - my parents haven’t had issue in the caravan. Think these Power Stations are a good solution; I have AGM’s - fine for low demand, I think the PS would suit our 240v needs in the Van 👍🏼

What would you use all that power for, you ask? Mobility equipment! If you're a disabled camper, reliant on *having* to charge fairly hefty batteries daily, these big power banks are absolutely game changing! I realise that's an extremely niche use, but you did ask. 😅 Interesting looking power bank, I'm always following the reviews for these things so thanks for sharing. 😀

What & how can you use the 12V barrel connections?
@GadgetJohn Жыл бұрын
You can use these to connect up led lights, fans or other low amp 12v devices. amzn.to/3Zz6RUy

£2300 with the solar panels, £1900 without. Only £1000 for the S2000. Prices from your link to Amazon. They seem to be a good buy, so maybe the prices went up with their popularity. Thanks for the review 🙂

I love my S2000 because it’s so affordable for the features & power it’s got. The new one will last much longer though.

I guess one of these would be great for a touring caravan, meaning it could go off grid
@GadgetJohn Жыл бұрын
Yes, it would be great for that as you could use it as hookup to charge the caravan battery, or even power the appliances too.

I think there’s very little between them all now to be fair, so you can more easily choose power, features & price instead of the brand.
